Schooltool certification programs are targeted to specific user
types.
Please take a look at the following options to see
which program is right for you.

Support Personnel Certification |
|
This program will provide a brief
review of the module functionality followed by scenario based
troubleshooting exercises. The focus of the program is to
provide users with the skill set better suited to troubleshoot
potential schooltool issues.
Intended
Attendees: This program is intended for individuals that
are responsible for supporting single or multiple schooltool
databases.
Course Structure:
- 2-3 hour
sessions everyday for 9 weeks (online). (88 Total hours over 34 sessions)
- Each module covered
in approximately 3-5 days.
- All modules are required.
- Homework
is incorporated into the overall passing requirement.
- Successful completion of the Certification will require a passing score of 80% on the final exam.

Re-Certification |
|
schooltool recertification programs
will be offered three (3) times throughout the year and will be
scheduled following each schooltool release.
The re-certification program is focused on maintaining the
knowledge of the application as well as providing a detailed
understanding of the updates and new features that have been
added to the product.
Intended
Attendees: This program is intended for individuals who
have successfully completed either the Support Personnel
Certification Program or the End User Certification Program.
Course Prerequisites: Users
should have successfully passed a previous Certification
Program.
Course Structure:
Offered quarterly. Users
must re-certify three times per year to maintain
certification status.

End User Certification |
|
This program will provide a brief
review of the module functionality followed by process based
troubleshooting exercises. The focus of the program is to
provide day-to-day users with a better understanding of how to
effectively use schooltool.
Intended
Attendees: This program is intended for individuals who
perform day-to-day tasks within schooltool (e.g.
Counselors, Administrators, General Super Users, etc.).
Course Prerequisites: Users
should have at least 1 year of previous experience using
schooltool.
Course Structure:
- 2 hour
sessions everyday for 6 weeks (online or in-house).
- Each module covered
in approximately 3-5 days.
- "Ala Carte" offering: Districts may select specific
modules to become certified.
(e.g. Counselors may only
wish to be certified on Scheduling and Counseling while the
other areas of schooltool may not be of
interest) - Pricing on a per-module basis.
- Testing
is incorporated into each module as part of the overall passing requirement.
